I did not find this book funny unless that descriptions is meant with a negative connotation, in which case this book was absolute knee slapper. I wasn't amused that the main female character's shyness and insecurity were instantly replaced with a character who was obnoxious, stupid and just annoying to the point of painfulness. She was supposed to change his gruff attitude and demeanor into something softer. Instead she completely ignores directions and the author declares the lead female is now strong and independent when instead both characters failt to follow the simple logic of discussing issues between them.

I didn't realize this story was part of a collection of this series that I had previously read. This female character goes on to mouth off and annoy readers for several more books and also turns the subsequent leading female characters into moronic raging idiots as well.

I would NOT recommend this story to anyone unless it was to use a paper copy to kill a bug.

I absolutely loved the Ridgeville series and wish there were more characters to write about. This book is a delightful end to the series and the cover model is a perfect Maya..... except that Maya is a blond.
As is true for every Celia Kyle book I read, I loved it!! She is absolutely hilarious & has a truly remarkable gift for describing scenes so well that you can picture each & every aspect right down to the smallest detail. The only complaint that I have is that each book should be longer, particularly this one!
Loved all of Myas' words of wisdoms.
Had me laughing hard and tears coming down my face in streams.😂
Loved the sneak peek of the new arrival.
Will we see more of the Ridgeville various Shifters and their kit,cubs,pups.
Loved this book of May and others wisdom. I was happy to read the short story on May and Alex. I loved it. You don't need to read all of the Ridgeville series, but the first one would be helpful. Ms. Kyle writes wonderful stories and I have become a new fan. Check out one of her books and you'll love it, especially if you love shifter stories.
I tell you what really burns me up. I have purchased all of this series but it's saying I havent. You see I love reading a series again and again i know you know what I mean. I really love this author and her books are laugh out loud and sexy as well. Please don't let my ranting keep you from one of my favorite authors.

Loved this world and just got done reading the whole series back to back I'm sorry to see it come to an end. Especial since I'll never know if Alex and Maya had a third son or a first daughter.

Please write more, I'm going to miss my trips to Ridgeville. Sigh!
This is a "free" gift from Kyle to her readers.... a thoughtful gift. If you haven't read the series, I'd get this book; put it aside; read the series AND then read this treat. If you read it first, you'll miss most of the meaning of the mayaisms. Also it'll give away the ending of her relationship w/her mate.

This isn't meant to be a story.... or even a snippet of a story.... but a wonderful snack for Kyle's loyal readers of her wonderful series. Thanx.... it was delicious & we appreciate it!
